ELGIN City will host manager Ross Jack’s former club Dunfermline Athletic in the third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Buckie Thistle will travel to Stenhousemuir if they can overcome Annan Athletic in a replay on October 19.
But it is Elgin’s draw against the Pars, bossed by former Hearts manager Jim Jeffries, which should attract a decent crowd to Moray.
City manager Jack was a star striker for the Fife outfit during the late 1980s, once topping the Premier Division goal charts while playing for them.
Monday’s draw at Hampden was Elgin’s reward for a 4-0 win at Keith in the second round at the weekend.
Buckie drew 0-0 at home to Annan on the same day and for the second year running will make the long trip to Dumfries and Galloway for a replay.
However, Jags won at Galabank last season and if they can repeated the achievement, another away trip to SL1 side Stenhousemuir’s Ochilview stadium awaits them.
Of the Highland League teams still in the competition, Turriff host Stirling or Whitehill Welfare while Inverurie make the trip to Alloa.
Deveronvale are away to Albion Rovers if they can overcome Linlithgow Rose in this weekend’s replay, while a home draw against Montrose will be Fraserburgh’s reward if they beat Edinburgh City on Saturday.
The winner of Saturday’s Cove Rangers v Brora Rangers rematch will go to Clyde in round 3.
