Elgin earn point at Hampden

ELGIN City stretched their unbeaten league run to nine games with a 1-1 draw at Queens Park.

However, Andrew Robertson levelled for the Glasgow amateurs four minutes before half-time.

Rangers won 4-2 at Montrose earlier in the day which leaves City three points adrift of the Ibrox side in second place.

The pair meet at Borough Briggs next Saturday in a rearranged game.

The draw maintains a four point gap between Elgin and Queens Park in third place, although the Hampden men have a game in hand.

Elgin: Gibson, Nicolson, Duff, Crighton, Harkins (Beveridge), Gunn, O'Donoghue, Cameron, Moore, Wyness (Millar), Leslie. Not used: Black, McHardy, McMullan.
