FRANI More has quit as Rothes boss.
More’s decision to stand down follows the club’s 3-0 defeat in the Scottish Cup at Threave Rovers on Saturday.
More took over seven months ago following the sacking of Graham McBeath.
After overhauling the squad in the summer and bringing in a lot of players from welfare and junior footaball, the Speysiders have won just once in six league outings this season.
More was "gutted" after Saturday’s cup exit at Meadow Park but gave no hint that he was considering stepping down at that stage.
News broke of his resignation on Sunday evening.
A Club spokesman said: "It is with regret that we as a committee have decided to accept Frani More’s resignation as Manager of Rothes FC with immediate effect."
This was More’s first job in management and he was assisted by former Buckie Rovers boss Graeme Roy.
