FORRES Mechanics defender Graham Fraser will miss his team’s North Cup semi after earned a further three-match ban.
Fraser’s punishment came after he was reported to the SFA by referee Mike McNab for comments he made after being sent off at Formartine on August 10.
The defender was automatically banned for two matches, but picked up a further 3 games following a disciplinary hearing on Thursday.
That means Fraser (20), who sat out Cans’ recent games against Huntly and Clach, also misses Saturday’s home clash with Buckie, Tuesday’s North Cup semi at Nairn and the following weekend’s visit to Fraserburgh.
It is a further blow to Forres boss Charlie Rowley, who this week saw RAF front man Scott Lawrie fly out on a tour of duty to Afghanistan, where he will be stationed for the next ten weeks.
Fellow front man Ryan Green went under the surgeon’s knife on Thursday for a clean-up operation on a troublesome knee injury, and will also be sidelined for a number of weeks.
Mechanics will welcome back Kyle Scott into their starting line up for Saturday’s match against Buckie, who have Lewis Mackinnon suspended.

Next week’s Scot will have action photos from the Mosset Park clash.
