GARY Hake still can’t believe he landed Aaron Conway in the summer.
And after the winger scored a sensational goal and laid on another in a 2-2 draw with champions Cove Rangers, the Buckie boss declared: "There is still more to come from him."
Dundee-based Conway (28) was snapped up in the summer despite interest from Scottish League and other Highland League clubs.
The former Dundee United, Dundee, Forfar, East Fife, Livingston and Peterhead wide man is relishing a crack at the Highland League.
"The standard of the Highland League is very competitive, " he said. "I knew it would be like this and it is a good league to play in.
And Conway believes they can challenge among the top six.
Hake added: "He’s a special player. There is more to come from him because he is not up to 100% speed yet because he has been carrying a wee injury."
"He has played in every league in the Scottish League and I am glad we have got him."
The Jags head to Mosset Park this weekend to take on Forres Mechanics.
