Now manager Kevin Walker is viewing Saturday’s home clash with Keith as a chance to grab his first win as a league boss.
The Coasters were due to visit fellow strugglers Fort William last weekend, but a waterlogged Claggan Park failed an 8am pitch inspection and the match was postponed.
Lossie had been confident of getting off the points mark in Lochaber after five league defeats so far this term.
“We were looking forward to going down there and try to pick up points, so it was a bit of a nightmare losing the match,” Walker admitted.
The Lossie boss knows that Saturday’s opponents, Keith, will be much harder foes after recent wins over top sides like Cove and Buckie.
But he also believes luck has not been on Lossie’s side as they have tried to get a foothold in their efforts to climb the league table.
“It’s another tough game for us, but we should have a few players back,” he said. “We are due to shock somebody soon, so hopefully it will be this weekend.
