THRILLED Elgin City manager Ross Jack has confirmed key midfielder Daniel Moore has agreed a new deal with the club.
Moore (23), who won the City players' player of the year award last season after some excellent performances, has pledged to put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
Following last week's news that eight of the Elgin squad who took the club to the Division 2 play-offs are also staying, boss Jack was a happy man.
"He's agreed to sign, and I'm absolutely delighted," he said.
The player himself confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: "Verbally agreed new deal with Elgin today, can't wait for new season already. Hopefully we can kick on get promoted this time."
Stuart Leslie, Brian Cameron, Craig Gunn, Mark Nicolson, Jamie Duff, David Niven, Graeme Beveridge and Ross O'Donoghue have also agreed new contracts, while Jack has secured a year's loan of keeper John Gibson from Dundee.
