FRANI More has been named new player-manager of Rothes.
More was in the stand to watch as the Speysiders beat Fort William 5-0.
The former Mackessack Park winger quit the club last season before going on to play with Dufftown in the junior ranks.
Rothes sacked Graham McBeath earlier in the week, ending a near 25 year association with the club, following a string of poor results.
Man of many clubs More even played football in Australia for a year in a career that has also seen him play for Buckie Thistle, Lossiemouth and Deveronvale.
Senior player Kevin Shortreed and skipper Michael Dunn took charge of the team against Fort William.
"Just been named new player manager for Rothes. Taking a step into the unknown but looking forward to the challenge," said More on his Facebook page.
