RYAN Green hopes to use his experience to help bring on Lossiemouth's young talent.
The 37-year-old striker has signed a deal until the end of the season after Forres agreed to release him after 11 seasons at Mosset Park.
"The average age of the team must be about 22 or 23 so hopefully I can bring some experience," he told 'The Scot'.
Green won the Highland League, North Cup and League Cup during his time with Forres Mechanics.
The former Elgin City and Buckie Thistle player, who lives in Elgin, is relishing the challenge at Grant Park and hopes to keep playing beyond the end of this season.
After a period of injury earlier this season, Green struggled to force his way back into the Mechanics squad.

Lossie boss Stevie Dunn was delighted to land Green, a player he had tried to sign at the start of the season.
Green will come straight into the squad for the home match with high flying Brora Rangers this Saturday, although Dunn admits a lack of match fitness will be the player's main challenge at this stage.
Dunn believes Green can be the perfect signing to help the likes of 18-year-old striker Jordan McBain who has fired three goals in two games since coming in to the side from the club's under-19 squad.
McBain hit a double in the 3-1 win over Buckie on his first start for the club and last weekend was on target again as Lossie went down 3-1 at Fraserburgh in a game Dunn believes they should have taken something from.
