ELGIN City’s home league match against Rangers in March is being screened live by Sky Sports.
The Division 3 clash at Borough Briggs on Saturday. March 16, will kick off at 12.45pm for the TV cameras.
Sky Sports’ website confirmed the game will be screened on that day on a channel yet to be decided, kicking off at the same time as the English Premier League clash between Everton and Manchester City.
It will be the third time this season that a game between the two teams has been shown live on television.
City’s first-ever league visit to Ibrox as screeend by ESPN in September, with Rangers winning 5-1 after Jamie Duff fired Elgin into a shock lead.
The clubs were also drawn together in Glasgow in the third round of the Scottish Cup in December, a tie which was live on Sky and finished 3-0 to Ally McCoist’s men.
Elgin’s first home fixture against the ‘Gers in November was also due to be screened on ESPN, until the match was cancelled after it was discovered Elgin had oversold around a thousand tickets for the match.
It was rearranged for just before Christmas, though not on TV, with Rangers running out comfortable 6-2 winners.
The most recent match between the teams at Ibrox in January resulted in City’s finest Scottish League result to date, as they held the Glasgow giants to a 1-1 draw.
