Weather claims Keith and Buckie games

THE chilly March weather has led to the postponement of two Moray Highland League club's matches.Kevin Shortreed of Rothes clears his lines against Buckie on Saturday with his keeper, Steve Dunn, on the ground.

Keith's league visit to Cove Rangers was first to fall victim to the snowy conditions on Wednesday.

Buckie Thistle's trip to Grantown to take on Strathspey Thistle was also called off due to a frozen pitch.

The Aberdeen shire Shield semi-finals were also affected when Formartine United's pitch failed an inspection ahead of their clash with Turriff United.

Lossiemouth are the only Moray side with a chance of midweek action. Their visit to Clach was still on by mid afternoon, as was the Nairn v Fort William fixture.
