FORRES Harrier Kyle Greig overcame the wind to post his second fastest ever 10k to win the Moray Marathon 10k on Sunday.
The fitness consultant put his success down to a tough new training regime that has seen him more than double his weekly miles to 70 a week.
Coach Lewis Walker, from Buckie, is behind his more intense training programme.
The first lady home in the 10k was Moray Roadrunner Elspeth Jenkins.
Kate Mattocks (formerly Jenkins) completed a remarkable 14th victory in the ladies marathon despite a crippling calf injury.
The men's marathon was won by Clydebank's Paul Carroll.
City of Edinburgh runner Adam Rouse secured his first ever race victory in the half-marathon, while Caroline Milne completed back to back wins in the ladies race.
The three races attracted a combined field of almost 600 runners.
