RIDERS can still enter this weekend’s Moray Schools Mountain Bike Championships.
Hosted by Moray Mountain Bike Club and Active Schools, the event will incorporate round three of the North of Scotland Dirt Crit Series 2013.
Mosstowie Primary School, near Elgin will be the HQ and registration is from 10am on Saturday morning.
The courses will be open for practice until 10.40am.
There will be races at under-6,8,10,12,14,16 and 18 level.
There will also be an adults race at 2pm.
The action will get underway with an under-six race at 10.45am and climax with the adults race at 2pm.
Both those races are entries on the day only but for all other races riders can register online in advance of tomorrow at www.britishcycling.org.uk
Competitors can also choose to sign up on the day and all they need to bring are: a mountain bike in safe working order, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothes for wet weather, packed lunch, snacks and water. Young competitors must be signed in by a parent or guardian.
