Despite an 11-2 defeat to hosts and one of the gold medal favourites Russia, the British rink remain in joint third in the round robin standings with just two games left to play.

With Moray curlers Ewan Gregor and Jim Gault in the side, Team GB never really got to grips with the Russian challenge as the slipped to their third defeat in seven games.

The big test will come on Thursday when the rink skipped by Aileen Neilson will face back to back games against the USA and China, who both still have hopes of making the last four.

Team GB play the USA at 5.30am British time and will return to the ice at 11.30am to take on China.

Both games will be shown on Channel 4's Paralympic coverage.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on Saturday.
