FORMER Oasis guitarist Bonehead is bringing his new band to the Highlands this summer.
Parlour Flames, the band formed by Bonehead (aka Paul Arthurs) and Manchester-based musician and poet Vinny Peculiar (aka Alan Wilkes) will be appearing at Mad Hatters, Church Street, Inverness on Sunday 2nd June.
Their self-produced and self-titled debut album will be released via Cherry Red Records on 20th May and will be Bonehead’s first album release since leaving Oasis in 1999.
Bonehead and Vinny met through Smiths’ drummer Mike Joyce, and Bonehead played guitar on Vinny’s last solo album. They initially began working together with the intention of releasing an EP but, as recording progressed, the songs kept on coming, leading them to extend the remit and recruit a live band.
Local support comes from The Oxides and The Stellars.Tickets will be available from Friday 22nd March online at www.scottish.ticketsource.co.uk and in person from Hootananny on Church Street, Inverness.
