IT’S coincidence that the Cuban Brothers come to Inverness on Saturday the same day as a Cuban salsa day returns to Eden Court.
But it might be the start of a beautiful friendship.
The theatre’s Havana Nights was held last year when live and authentic Cuban performances of music and dance went down so well the idea is being repeated again on Saturday.
Also back will be rising star Indira Roman who proved a big hit last time.
And Mike Mantovani of the Cuban Brothers – whose irresistible mix of comedy, break-dancing and music also returns on Saturday to the Ironworks for a late show – says he would love to invite Indira to come and join them.
"I will get in touch with Indira Roman and see if we can get her over for a bit of fun and action.
"We’re not salsa traditionalists, but she’s a great talent and a brilliant performer.
"So that might be fun, to see if we could get Indira up for a bit of a shuffle with us!"
