FOR once The Ironworks is promising an evening’s entertainment that will be drag with the Inverness debut of The Music Hall Tavern.
Following in the gender-crossing tradition of Danny La Rue and Foo Foo Lamar, The Music Hall Tavern is a well established attraction on the tourist friendly Canary Islands with its mix of glamour, comedy, song and dance.
Now the show is giving some of the thousands of holiday makers that have already seen the MHT in Spain the chance to re live their night out once again with friends and family here in the UK.
The Music Hall Tavern glams up The Ironworks on Thursday 27th November.
Also announced by complete contrast is another Inverness debut as BRIT Award winning singer and producer Ethan Johns visits the Highlands as part of his upcoming UK tour.
Having achieved an impressive record of success as a producer with such clientèle as Ray Lamontagne, Kings of Leon, Paul McCartney, Laura Marling and this year’s Beladrum headliner Tom Jones, Johns released his first solo record, If Not Now, Then When? in Summer 2013.
His follow up record, The Reckoning, is scheduled for release this summer and sees Johns trade places with long-time friend and collaborator US singer-songwriter Ryan Adams.
Inspired by Johns’ experiences on tour in the UK, Europe, and the US, Johns takes the new songs on the road with an extensive tour that brings him to The Ironworks on Thursday 15th May.
Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
