THE first batch of shows announced by The Ironworks in 2014 finds the Inverness venue already looking forward to the year’s end.
Among the new shows on sale on Friday 10th January is The Ironworks’ 2014 Hogmanay bash with local band Rhythm ‘n’ Reel making a return visit on 12 months from their sell out Hogmanay show.
Also announced is the return on MacFloyd on Saturday 12th April. The Scottish Pink Floyd tribute act will be touring a new show looking back over the career of Pink Floyd and spanning the years 1967 to 1994 including material from, among others, Wish you were here, Animals, The Wall and The Division Bell albums in a show lasting over two hours.
Also taking a look back will be The Counterfeit Sixties Tribute Show on Saturday 17th May.
The band, who have been touring for many years both here and abroad, make a first time visit to Inverness as part of their 2014 theatre tour and have received rave reviews around the country for their portrayal of many ’60s bands, coupled together with their unique lighting show, and video footage of the era.
Tickets for all three shows go on sale at 10am.
