Local lass Tamzene begins Cromarty's musical year

LOCAL aspiring singer-songwriter Tamzene Allison-Power kicks off Cromarty’s 2014 music programme on Saturday 4th January with a special fund raising show.

The concert, which takes place at The Stables, Cromarty, between 2pm and 4pm, is helping 16-year old Tamzene raise funds for a trip to Thailand where she will be working on a project to provide clean water in the remote northern part of the country.

Some of her talented friends will be joining Tamzene to help her showcase her current work and interval refreshments will be provided by The Cheese House in Cromarty.

2014 is shaping up to being an exciting year for the Gordonstoun pupil. As well as her trip to Thailand, she will be appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe in August alongside some of her fellow pupils.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are priced £10 and can be booked in advance through her own website where donations can also be made to her fund raising projects and some of her original music can be downloaded.
