STRATHPEFFER Pavilion will host a special band showcase on Friday 29th November, bringing acts from the Highlands and beyond to the Pavilion stage.
The evening has been put together by Kris Reid, Strathpeffer Pavilion’s newly appointed programme development manager, and features Glasgow’s Three Blind Wolves, AMWWF (formerly Anderson McGinty Webster Ward Fisher) from Dundee, and two acts with north links in Donald Macdonald and The Islands and Dr. Wook.
"Three Blind Wolves are one of Scotland’s most promising breakthrough acts on the scene at the moment," Reid said.
"Fresh off the back of their European tour and having recently supported Frightened Rabbit on their UK tour, we’re really excited about their show at the Pavilion.
"AMWWF may well be a mouthful, but don’t let that put you off. This band is a group of hugely talented musicians and is rapidly becoming popular after a number of festival appearances this summer.
"We’re delighted to have Donald Macdonald & The Islands as part of the line up, especially as the band members are so local to Strathpeffer. Finally but definitely not least, Kris Douglas of Inverness band The Whiskys, aka Dr. Wook, will open the evening with his new and exciting solo project. Four fantastic artists for only £12, it’s a showcase definitely not to be missed."
Strathpeffer Pavilion’s band showcase will take place on Friday 29th November from 7.30 pm. Tickets will go on sale online with WeGotTickets and Ticketweb today at 9am, for £12 plus booking fee.
They will also be available from www.strathpefferpavilion.org and June’s Card Shop in Dingwall.
