A NEW choir will perform a seasonal repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day, during their Hour of Festive Music which will be staged on Sunday.
The newly-formed Lantern Singers will perform in aid of CHAS – the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland – during the 4pm concert at Gordonstoun School.
Musical director Lisa Kerr said: “There is so much wonderful music written for Christmas, and we’ve chosen pieces which include some familiar carols as well as some wonderfully atmospheric pieces from centuries gone by.”
Tickets, available on the door, cost £10 for adults, and children are free. Mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies are included.
The concert will be held in the north and south rooms at the school.
