NEW music from the Western Isles and a tribute to The Boss — Bruce Springsteen — are among the autumn attractions at Inverness music venue The Ironworks.
Former frontman of the band Astrid and occasional Reindeer Section performer, Willie Campbell brings his band The Open Day Rotation back to Inverness on Wednesday 15th October.
An artist who writes and performs songs in both Gaelic and English, Campbell’s recent album Dalma finds him working with Celtic rock veteran Calum Martin on material which reflects his Gaelic heritage and all the influences which flowed through his early work, including notable peers such as Teenage Fanclub.
Returning to The Ironworks on Saturday 29th November, The Springsteen Sessions are a Scottish based tribute acts covering over four decades of New Jersey’s greatest songwriter with such classics as Born To Run, 10th Avenue Freeze Out, Jungleland and Rosalita.
Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
