UNIVERSAL Hall in Findhorn will be entertaining the very young in April with visits from specialist theatre companies from both sides of the Border.

First up on Saturday 5th April is Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre with The Gingerbread Man.

Imagine a world made entirely of biscuits: trees, houses and stars in the sky. Into this beautiful world comes a Gingerbread Man, creating havoc wherever he goes. He meets a majestic cow, a stubborn goat and an opportunistic bird. But can the Gingerbread Man outwit the dastardly Fox?

Age recommendation is for age three years and above.

Then on Saturday 19th April, again at 2pm, Rene Baker and Norwich Puppet Theatre re-tell the Brothers Grimm tale The Frog and The Princess.

The Princess deems Frog to be unworthy of being her friend, just because of what he is. As the Frog and the Princess undergo an emotional journey from rejection to friendship, these humorous characters with flaws, foibles and feelings display traits that children will recognise. Suitable for four to eight year olds and their families.

Tickets for both shows are £7 full price; £6 concessions; and £4 for children and are available from the Phoenix Stores (telephone 01309 690110) and online at www.wegottickets.com/UniversalHall
