TV's Hebburn star Chris Ramsey adds second Aberdeen date.

Fast-talking funnyman Chris Ramsey has proved such a fast seller at Aberdeen Box Office that a second date has been added to his city stopover at the Lemon Tree in the spring.

Already, the sold-out signs have been slapped on his Saturday, March 8 gig at the city centre venue, so tour organisers have squeezed in another date on Friday, March 7.

Tickets for the earlier show go on sale today (Wednesday) online at, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.

“We’re not really surprised by the demand for tickets,” said Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers.

“Chris’s previous shows in December last year and April this year also sold out.

“We are just delighted that we have been able to add a second date for this spring.”

His new tour comes hard on the heels of his completely sold-out, twice-extended 2012 tour, multiple appearances on Celebrity Juice and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and a starring role in BBC Two’s Hebburn which has just returned to TV screens..

Taking his brush with on-air censorship – he was "sent off" the Soccer AM sofa last year for misbehaving - as a jumping off point to muse on life, mistakes, expectation and offence, Chris examines what happens when you say the wrong thing in the wrong place at the wrong time in his new show The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television.
