Jennifer was presented with the Ella Pentland Prize for best female reading in business studies with accounting and the Merchant Company Prize for the best accounting dissertation.

Emma Haughton, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated from Aberdeen University PhD molecular biology. Emma, who is originally from Dufftown, previously gained MSc toxicology at the University of Surrey and BSc biomedical sciences from Edinburgh's Napier University. She has recently been awarded a research fellowship to continue her research into liver disease at Birmingham University and now lives in Birmingham.

Ian Ireland, Forres, graduated as a Flight Lieutenant after completing Specialist Entrant and Re-Entrant Course No 4 at Royal Air Force College Cranwell, Lincolnshire. Ian, who lives with his wife, Carol, attended Greenock High School before graduating from the University of Glasgow with a MB ChB. After serving as a GP with the Ministry of Defence at RAF Lossiemouth he decided to join the RAF. He will continue to serve as a doctor.
