Lyndsey Howie, Appledore, The Dominies, Lhanbryde, graduated BA social work from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Lyndsey, a former Milne’s High School pupil, is now working for Angus Council.

Sarah Gauld, Feddan, Birnie, graduated LLB (hons) law from Aberdeen University. Sarah, a former Elgin Academy pupil, has been offered a traineeship with a law firm in Inverness.

Emma Johnston, 6 Dean Terrace, Lossiemouth, graduated from the University of St Andrews BSc (hons) medicine. Emma, a former Lossiemouth High School pupil, is continuing her clinical training at the University of Manchester.

Emma Haughton, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated from Aberdeen University PhD molecular biology. Emma, who is originally from Dufftown, previously gained MSc toxicology at the University of Surrey and BSc biomedical sciences from Edinburgh's Napier University. She has recently been awarded a research fellowship to continue her research into liver disease at Birmingham University and now lives in Birmingham.

Christopher Gordon, Inchbroom, Cairnfield, Buckie, graduated MA (hons) rural surveying from Aberdeen University.

Vicki Green, 1 Ferrier Road, Dufftown, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated BSc (hons) biosciences with biomedical sciences from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Vicki is now working at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Ewen Gordon, Dunaber, Church Road, Garmouth, a former Milne’s High School pupil, graduated from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University, BA (hons) tourism and hospitality management.

Christopher Jamieson, 11 Steinbeck Road, Buckie, graduated BEng (hons) electronic and electrical engineering from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

Christopher Gordon, Inchbroom, Carinfield, Buckie, graduated MA (hons) rural surveying from The University of Aberdeen.

Callum Jenkins, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated from Aberdeen University MA geography and international relations.

Rebecca Grant, Westerlea, High Street, Garmouth, a former Milne's High pupil, graduated from St Andrews University, BSc (hons) medical science.

Ian Ireland, Forres, graduated as a Flight Lieutenant after completing Specialist Entrant and Re-Entrant Course No 4 at Royal Air Force College Cranwell, Lincolnshire. Ian, who lives with his wife, Carol, attended Greenock High School before graduating from the University of Glasgow with a MB ChB. After serving as a GP with the Ministry of Defence at RAF Lossiemouth he decided to join the RAF. He will continue to serve as a doctor.

Joseph Hughes, St Florians, 18 Urquhart Street, Forres, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated MA (hons) philosophy from Aberdeen University.

Rhona Grant, 17 Cooper Street, Hopeman, graduated BA in Social Work (DL) from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Rhona is the daughter of Elsie and the late Ronald Main, Hopeman.

Carla Gordon, Louise Street, Dufftown, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated as a Bachelor of Nursing from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Carla is now working as a community nurse in Keith.

Keith Grant, Longhill, Lhanbryde, a former Milne’s High School pupil, has graduated from Strathclyde University MSc environmental studies.

Sheree Hay, 43 Drummond Road, Inverness, a former Milne’s High School pupil, graduated MA German (Hons) from St Andrew’s University.

Nicola Gardner, a former pupil of Speyside High School, graduated BA (first class hons) in Corporate Communication, from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Nicola was also awarded the Grampian PR Group annual award for best overall final year student in corporate communication.

Raymond Gordon, Hillock, Lower Cabrach, Huntly, graduated BSc (hons) in Chemistry from Edinburgh University. Raymond is a former Speyside High School pupil.

Jean-Anne Goodbrand, South Guildry Street, Elgin, graduated BSc (Open) from the Open University.

Zoë Hart, Pinewood Road, Mosstodloch, graduated BSc in Midwifery from Paisley University. A former pupil at Speyside High School, she previously gained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Napier University in 1997. Zoë has been engaged as a midwife at The Queen Mother's Hospital in Glasgow.
