Gavin Paterson, Kildonan, Reidhaven Street, Elgin, graduated from Edinburgh University, Master of engineering (first class hons) electronics and electrical, and was awarded the Ewart Farvis Prize in his final year for professionally relevant project work. Gavin, a former pupil of Elgin Academy, is now training as a chartered accountant in Edinburgh.
