Craig Strachan, Lawsondale Crescent, Westhill, graduated from Buckinghamshire and Chiltern University with a post graduate diploma in personnel and development. Craig is a former pupil of Bishopmill Primary School.

Lorna Savage, a former Lossiemouth High School pupil, graduated from Glasgow University, Master of Research in education and social purpose. Lorna is going on to study for a PhD in education at the University of Stirling.

Kevin Souter, son of Jim and Margaret, Smith Drive, Elgin, graduated BA (hons) applied social sciences from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Kevin is a former pupil of Forres Academy.

Suzanne Stuart, Kirkhill Court, Elgin, a former Elgin High School pupil, graduated from Stirling University (Highland Campus) BSc adult nursing. Suzanne is currently working as a staff nurse in Stephen Hospital, Dufftown.

Linsay Rhind, 19 Barwell Road, Forbeshill, Forres, graduated BSc (hons) in physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. Linsay, a former Forres Academy pupil, is now working at the Ian Charles Hospital, Grantown-on-Spey.

Marian Stuart, Springfield Gardens, Elgin, graduated BA child and youth studies from the University of Highlands and Islands. Marian, a former Speyside High School pupil, is now ­doing a post graduate Diploma of Education primary teaching at Aberdeen University.

Laura Smith, 34 Eemins Place, Elgin, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated BSc (hons) forensic science with law from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Laura is now working with Grampian Police.

Jamie Smith, 33 Castle Street, Fochabers, graduated BA (hons) politics and business management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Jamie is a former pupil of Milne's High School.

Kirsteen Swinney, 65 South Guildry Street, Elgin, graduated BA (hons) sociology from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. Kirsteen, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is now working in Glasgow.

Karen Simpson, 7 Meadows View, Buckie, graduated from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University, Bachelor of nursing (dist). Karen is now undertaking NHS Grampian’s staff nurse development programme and is working at Turner Memorial Hospital, Keith.

Helen Thomson, Burnside of Tynet Cottage, Clochan, Buckie, graduated MA rural surveying from Aberdeen University. Helen, a former Milne’s High School pupil, is now working with Bowlts rural department.

Gavin Stuart, Braes of Glenlivet, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a Masters degree in product design engineering.

Laura Smith, Trinlen, Salterhill, Elgin, a former pupil of Elgin Academy, graduated from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University with a Diploma of Higher Education (children’s nursing) and is now working as a staff nurse in Edinburgh.

Clair Smith, Trinlen, Salterhill, Elgin, a former pupil of Elgin Academy, graduated MA (hons) from Edinburgh University PGDE Secondary English (dist) and is now teaching in Aberdeen.

Alan Rankine, son of Munro and Lindsay, 31 Hamilton Drive, Elgin, graduated from Edinburgh University BA (first class hons) mathematics. Alan, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is now working in Edinburgh.

Alistair Smith, 1 Hythehill, Lossiemouth, graduated from Dundee University, Master of Architecture with distinction. Alistair previously graduated from Dundee University, Bachelor of Architecture with honours.

Neil C. Robertson, ‘Cherry Brae’, 5 Burnside Road, Duffus, formerly Lossiemouth High, graduated from Stirling University Master of Science, innovation commercialisation and entrepreneurship with distinction. Neil previously graduated BSc at Herriot Watt University in chemistry with management with honours.

Kerri-Ann Tweedie, a former Speyside High School pupil, qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Kerri-Ann graduated from Aberdeen's Robert Gordon's University prior to studying to become a CA while working in Aberdeen.

Andrew Reid, son of Joyce and Donnie, 3 Ferryhill, Forres, graduated as a Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Andrew is a former pupil of Forres Academy.

Yvonne Smith, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated BA (hons) in Marketing from Strathclyde University.

Sarah Smith, a former Milne’s High School pupil of Castle Street, Fochabers, is currently studying medicine at Glasgow University and gained an intercalated BSc degree in Medical Science.

Sarah Spence, 20 Duff Avenue, Elgin, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated from Glasgow University with an Honours Degree in Classics and English literature. Sarah was also awarded the Cowan Medal for distinguished coursework in classics.
