Duke set to visit Moray

A ROYAL visitor is heading to Moray next week.

The Duke of York has a series of engagements in the area on Monday and Tuesday.

Prince Andrew, who will be accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire Clare Russell, will visit Buckie Community High School on Monday.

He will officially open the school’s new performance area at 2.40pm.

That will be followed by a visit to local fish processing factory ‘Pride of Scotland’, which exports salmon worldwide, later in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, the royal guest will visit Glenfarclas Distillery at 4.35pm. The distillery is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year.
