COMEDIAN Fred Macaulay is making a return visit to Lossiemouth.

The BBC Radio Scotland presenter headlined a ‘Stand up and be Kilted’ event earlier this year in support of the Save RAF Lossiemouth campaign.

Following the success of that event, Moray Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Lossiemouth Business Association, is repeating the event next May in Lossiemouth Town Hall.

Lesley Ann Parker, chief executive of Moray Chamber, said it is hoped the event can provide a tourism and business boost to Lossiemouth.

"It was very successful this year as part of the RAF campaign," she said.

As part of the event, the chamber is auctioning a special lunch date with Fred Macaulay before his show.

The auction will take place next Friday at the chamber’s annual awards dinner in the Mansefield Hotel.

Advance bids for the lunch with Fred can be e-mailed to Ms Parker at info@moraychamber.co.uk
