Moray photographers excel in Grampian Eye contest

Three local clubs were amongst the nine competing at weekend in the Grampian Eye photographic contest.

Forres, Speyside and Moray were all at The International School in Aberdeen on Saturday.

And Moray came within just four points of winning the whole thing.

The Elgin-based club came second received a total of 261 points.

That compares to the 265 secured by the infinitely larger Bon Accord who finished first.

Several photographers from Moray excelled.

The award for the top image went to Graham Clark from Eglin.

Best landscape was won by Ian Cameron who lives at Dallas Dhu.

Finally, Geoffrey Matthews from Craigellachie secured the prize for best portrait.
