Road awareness event promotes road safety

A HARD-HITTING road safety event will take place in Elgin next week.

As part of the ongoing battle to improve road safety in Moray, the awareness evening by the Moray Road Safety Group will take place at Alexandra Road Car Park behind Marks and Spencer on Thursday, September 8.

Moray Road Safety Group comprises members of Moray Council, Grampian Fire And Rescue Service, Grampian Police, Scottish Ambulance Service, NHS Grampian, BEAR Scotland and local driving instructors.

The awareness evening will be hosted by representatives of Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, Grampian Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service and will contain some images that are unsuitable for persons under the age of 16.
