POLICE in Moray have renewed their appeal for witnesses following a fatal car accident on June 4.

Mintlaw man Michael Fraser was killed in the one vehicle accident, which occurred on the A95 Cornhill to Keith road, near the junction with Nethermills, at 10.55pm.

Inspector Ewan Innes, of Grampian Police’s road policing department, said: "Our inquiries into this collision are continuing and we are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a dark-coloured Toyota Starlet motor car which may have been in the area at the time of the collision.

"We have no reason to believe that this vehicle was involved in any way with the collision, but the driver may have information which will assist us in piecing together the events leading up to the collision."

Anyone with information is asked to phone Grampian Police on 0845 600 5700 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111.
