A BOTANICAL walk is on offer to celebrate International Biodiversity Day after its successful introduction at the Spirit of Speyside Awards.
The walk on Tuesday May 22, will be led by expert ecologist Dr Kathy Ader and includes a trip up to the Linn Falls, near Aberlour.
Dr Ader will talk about the various flora present within the grounds, explaining the important role it plays in the environment and how it is traditionally used.
At the end of the tour, visitors will be able to enjoy a dram of Aberlour 12 Year Old in the Fleming Rooms. The tours are free of charge and will take place at 11am and 2pm departing from the Aberlour shop.
Neil Macdonald, Brand Experience Director at Chivas Brothers said: “In the spirit of International Biodiversity Day we wanted to give people the opportunity to explore all that Aberlour has to offer.
“The distillery is not only home to our renowned Single Malt, it also supports an abundance of wildlife, includes diverse flora and vital water sources. We look forward to welcoming visitors on this very special tour.”
