Catch a glimpse of the Queen's baton

Commonwealth Games batonTHE spirit of the 2014 Commonwealth Games will arrive in Moray next week, when the Queen’s Baton Relay takes to the streets to cover a route through 14 communities.

More than 100 baton-bearers will make their way through villages and towns throughout the area, marking the start of festivities for the Glasgow Games.

The relay will be in Keith on Wednesday, and then Buckie, Cullen, Fochabers, Mosstodloch, Lhanbryde, Lossiemouth, Hopeman, Cummingston, Kinloss, Forres and Elgin on Thursday.

Rothes and Aberlour will be on the route for Friday morning.
