BLOGGER Peter A Bell will visit Moray’s Common Weal as part of a tour of the Highlands.
The writer will deliver a talk on Scottish independence and give his view on any future referendum during next week's gathering.
It is the third time Mr Bell has spoken at the Moray branch of the Common Weal, with previous talks covering the EU Referendum and the role of the media in politics.
Event organiser Barry Jarvis said: “Peter is one of the foremost speakers in Scotland when it comes to the topic of independence and we are excited that he has managed to accommodate a visit to Elgin as part of his Highlands and Islands tour.
“His previous visits have been well attended and extremely useful and no doubt this one will be as well.”
The gathering takes place on March 13 at the Inkwell on Elgin’s Francis Place from 7.30pm. Entry is free but donations towards the cost of room hire are welcomed and a raffle will also be held.
The Moray branch forms part of Common Weal Scotland – a ‘think and do tank’ campaigning for social and economic equality in Scotland.
