A FESTIVAL of traditional music for young people is taking place this weekend at Gordonstoun School.
Féis Moray is running the two-day event which will teach youngsters the basics of several instruments, then finish with a short concert for parents.
Amongst the well-known musicians on hand will be Addie Harper the accordionist from Wick, Hugh Marwick from the Black Isle who plays the whistle and the keyboardist Andy Thornburn.
There will also be the chance to play the clarsach, the harp, the fiddle and the drums, as well as have a go at storytelling and drama.
The festival is for the over-8s and runs from 9.30am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29.
Costs are £40 for both days, and £30 for a second child. Bursaries are available.
