THE funeral will take place this Thursday of a two-year-old girl who died from a brain tumour.
Emma Beggs, who has family in Mosstodloch, was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer in November.
She had a tumour the size of a golf ball removed from her brain, then underwent chemotherapy at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.
Many people and businesses from Moray were among those who raised money to send the youngster to Florida to receive photon radiotherapy treatment.
Emma’s mum, Sonja Allan, moved to Fife in 2003, but grew up in Mosstodloch.
Her funeral will be held at 10am on Thursday in the Co-op parlour in Lochgelly, followed by the burial at Cowdenbeath Cemetery.
The wake will be held at the Hill of Beath Club.
