RAF interception of Russian planes "nothing to worry about"

RAF Lossiemouth signTHE recent scramble of fighter jets from RAF Lossiemouth to intercept Russian planes near UK database is “nothing to worry about.”

The Ministry of Defence have confirmed that the Typhoon aircraft departed from the Lossiemouth base on Monday morning.

A spokesperson for the RAF said: “This is nothing to worry about and it is all routine.”

According to the RAF, Russian aircrafts did not enter UK sovereign airspace at any point.
