THE Moray village of Fochabers is to feature on Penelope Keith’s Village of the Year.
The community, described as “planned to perfection”, will appear on the Channel 4 programme this Wednesday, from 3-4pm.
It is one of four villages to feature during the show, alongside Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorkshire, Acharacle in Argyll and Croston in Lancashire.
Each has been visited by the actress and presenter along with her panel of judges – archaeologist Alex Langlands, garden designer Juliet Sargeant and craft expert Patrick Grant.
Hundreds of villages across the length and breadth of the UK have been vying for the title, with the grand final due to be aired on Saturday at 8pm.
