Kynoch Park to host title party?

KEITH’S Kynoch Park is set to host a title party for Highland League champions-in-waiting Brora Rangers.

And the SHFLtv cameras will be there to film Saturday’s match and the celebrations expected if the Sutherland club triumphs.

Brora need a win to clinch their first-ever championship success, while Keith are gunning for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Cattachs earlier this season.

SHFLtv also captured the action from last Saturday’s game between Wick Academy and Nairn County, which Nairn won 2-1.

Former Elgin, Lossie, Forres and Buckie stalwart Mike Morrison scored County’s equaliser from the penalty spot, and his goal and interview features in the video (see below).

Wick had taken the lead with a brilliant long range strike by Craig Shearer.

The title may be decided in Keith this week, but Moray’s four other clubs have plenty to play for when they feature in the quarter-finals of the Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup.

Forres Mechanics and Buckie Thistle meet at Mosset Park while Rothes visit Clach and Lossiemouth are away to Huntly.

Don’t miss this week’s Northern Scot for all the build up to the big cup clashes.
