Lee Fraser scored for Forres in his second comeback game.

The 19-year-old came off the bench to tap in the Cans' second strike after Craig McGovern's solo effort broke the deadlock midway through the second half.

Fraser was out for more than a year after fracturing his kneecap in three places, but returned to action in Mechanics' 8-1 win over Rothes last week.

Elsewhere, Buckie Thistle held on for a 1-1 draw at Turriff despite playing three quarters of the match with only ten men.

After Jamie Shewan scored early on for Jags, Gary Clark was sent off in the first half for dissent and Turriff levelled just after the break.

Czech striker Marek Madle scored twice for Huntly in their 3-0 win over Fort William, with Polish front man Andrzej Slawomir-Kleczkowski also netting.

Keith, Rothes and Lossiemouth were all idle after their games fell victim to the weather.

Ex Buckie striker Martin Charlesworth hit a hat-trick for new club Deveronvale in their 5-0 thumping of Brora Rangers.

Formartine United joined Cove Rangers at the top of the table with a 3-1 success over Fraserburgh, their fourth win in the space of a week.
