VIDEO: Scottish Cup second round action

THREE Moray clubs are still in the Scottish Cup after round two fixtures at the weekend.

Elgin City secured their place in the third round draw with a 4-0 victory away to Lowland League side Gala Fairydean Rovers, while Buckie Thistle and Forres Mechanics both face replays on Saturday.

Shane Sutherland gave Elgin the lead after just 14 minutes at Netherdale (highlights below), the score was doubled after an own goal from Billy Miller. Chris McLeish got City’s third before half time.

Brian Cameron got an early second half goal to complete the comfortable victory for the Borough Briggs side.

Buckie Thistle came from behind at Victoria Park to draw 1-1 with Gretna 2008 (highlights below). Gretna took the lead on the ninth minute but a second half goal from top scorer John McLeod got the Moray side back in the tie.

Forres Mechanics will also face a replay next weekend after a 2-2 draw away to Cumbernauld Colts (highlights below). Forres took the lead with early Scott Graham strike. The Lowland League side edged in front with goals from Andrew Selkirk and Jamie Barclay, but Stuart Soane levelled a few minutes later to set up the replay.
