VIDEO: Buckie earn Scottish Cup home draw

BUCKIE Thistle have been handed a home Scottish Cup draw against Lowland League Gretna 2008.

Jags reward for Saturday’s thumping 6-0 victory at Inverurie Locos (see highlights above) is a second round clash with the club who took over from defunct former league side Gretna.

Graeme Stewart’s side are in scintillating form having won all 13 of their matches this season.

Elgin City will travel to Galashiels to take on another Lowland League team, Gala Fairydean Rovers.

The winners of Saturday’s replay between Lossiemouth and Forres Mechanics will also be on the road.

Whichever Moray side triumphs faces an away tie against either East of Scotland League side Leith Athletic or Lowland League Cumbernauld Colts, who also replay this weekend.

Forres and Lossie fought out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Mosset Park, with Forres goalkeeper Stuart Knight scoring his team’s dramatic late equaliser (see highlights below).

Keith and Rothes both exited the tournament last week, with the Maroons losing at home to Banks o’ Dee while Rothes were beaten 3-1 at BCS Glasgow.
