Team GB steamroller Slovakia

A STUNNING 12-2 win over Slovakia has put Team GB in a strong position at the Winter Paralympics.

Gregor Ewan helped Team GB to a solid win.

Moray curlers Jim Gault and Gregor Ewan are part of the team bidding for gold at Sochi.

And they have now recorded three wins out of four games in the round robin matches so far.

They crushed previously unbeaten Slovakia 12-2 in just seven ends.

The Slovakians made a great start and took two shots on the opening end.

However, that was as good as it got for them and Team GB, with Aileen Neilson (skip) and Bob McPherson the other two members, powered their way to a comprehensive win.

The Team GB curlers face two games on Tuesday when they play Finland at 5.30am UK time followed by another match up with a Scandinavian side, Norway, at 11.30am.
