DJ Yoda returns to Inverness.
DJ Yoda returns to Inverness.

DJ YODA aka Duncan Beiny - brings his cartoony audio-visual/musical mixing back to Inverness on May 3 - and on August 31 there's a night topped by 'the king of hardstyle', Technoboy.

His How To Cut & Paste series based on his tongue-in-cheek mixing style saw Q magazine call Yoda "one of the 10 DJs to see before you die.

Classic movies, cult TV shows, or viral internet clips are mashed up with the music - think Indiana Jones theme tune to dubstep, or dicing and splicing the Muppet Theme with 1930’s swing.

Technoboy is seen as the poster boy of hardstyle and he comes to the Ironworks on August 31 in a line-up that also boasts hard dance and hardcore’s newest superstar, Kutski plus Scott Brown, Andy Whitby, Phil York, Malfunction Vs Beamer and Mad Dog

On the night, there will be two rooms of hard dance from 8pm-3am.

Tickets for both events go on sale on Friday from 10am.
