PIRIE Ed's daughters, Fiona, Karen and Catrwould like to give heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, following the passing of Ed/Dad, on Sunday, 18th August and those who attended the funeral on 29th August and especially to Reverend Sonia Palmer, for such a beautiful service. A collection at the door raised the generous amount of £315, which was donated to The Moray Monday Club (Supporting People in Moray living with Dementia), where dad enjoyed to dance with his late wife, Morag and to participate in the various activities provided. Grateful thanks to all the health professionals from Maryhill Health Practice and the Out of Hours Nurses, who looked after dad in his final days. Special thanks to all of the carers in Linkwood View who provided such excellent care, laughter and compassion to dad during the past few months. We would also like to thank family and friends for cards, flowers, phone calls and baking. Finally, to John Mackay and his team from W.G. Catto Funeral Directors, who made Ed's final journey very dignified and just how he requested.
