£100,000 of cocaine recovered on A9

A MAN has been charged after police seized more than £100,000 worth of cocaine on the A9 south of Inverness.

Officers arrested the 33-year-old, who has not been named, after recovering the class A drugs from the vehicle on the busy trunk road.

A spokesman for the force said he had been expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday.
