Moray Playhouse in Elgin reports paranormal activity

Cinema staff are convinced their workplace is haunted after a series of paranormal occurrences.

The Moray Playhouse in Elgin has been the venue for a whole host of spooky happenings. Here’s a video of general manager Steven Bieszke to explain:

A shadowy figure walking through walls. Items flying through the air. Disembodied voices whispering in the dark. A second spectre dressed in the period clothes of a fishwife.

All of these things have been witnessed at the cinema which was built in 1932.

But although these mysterious events have caused goosebumps, they’ve thankfully not caused any greater alarm.

Steven confirmed: “I’ve never once felt threatened. It’s almost as though we’re a part of a family.”
