Folk from across Moray are being invited to come join the fun at a free dinner on Christmas Day.

Grant Hall in Rothes will be the venue on the afternoon of December 25 for Moray Community Christmas.

Live entertainment will be laid on, as will a three-course dinner.

Rothes resident Stephanie Walby who is helping to organise the event for the third year running, said: "It makes Christmas. More than 60 people came last year and everybody had a really good time.

"Guests can be any age. They can be single or not. They can come as a family.

"The day is open to anyone who is struggling in any way or to anyone who is just looking for some festive cheer.

"Transport is provided and we have a willing team of volunteers to pick people up from anywhere in Moray.

"Please get in touch if you would like to attend or know someone who would be interested."

Representatives from Moray Community Christmas will be in Aberlour this Saturday for the switch-on of the Christmas lights. All donations welcome.
