A96 roadworks near Inverurie

A section of the A96 near Inverurie will have roadworks over two upcoming weekends.

Resurfacing improvements are being made between the Port Elphinstone and Thainstone roundabouts.

The first phase of the £1.23million upgrade will begin at 7.30pm on Friday, January 21, finishing at 6.30pm on Monday morning.

The second phase will take place between the same times from Friday, February 4, and the following Monday.

Drivers will be diverted off the A96.
